How to use Image Resizer
Resize your images online to custom dimensions (width and height) with aspect lock options.
-
01
Choose an image
Add a JPG, PNG, or WebP image up to 50 MB and 40 megapixels. The file is read inside your browser.
-
02
Set the dimensions
Enter the required width and height. Keep the aspect-ratio lock enabled when you want to avoid stretching the image.
-
03
Review and download
Check the preview and output dimensions before downloading the resized copy. Keep the original until you have verified the result.
- Accepted input
- JPG, PNG, and WebP
- Published limit
- 50 MB and 40 megapixels
- Processing
- Local browser canvas
Example: prepare a smaller website image
- Input
- A 2400 × 1600 JPG product photo
- Result
- Set the width to 1200 px with aspect lock enabled; the proportional height is 800 px.
Limits and checks
- Resizing changes pixel dimensions; it does not restore detail that is missing from a small original.
- Very large images require substantial browser memory and may be slower on mobile devices.
- Always check transparency and output quality before replacing the original file.
Image Resizer questions
Will resizing stretch my image?
Not when the aspect-ratio lock is enabled. If width and height are changed independently, the image can be distorted.
Does the image leave my device?
No. Beginware reads and processes the supported image in the active browser session.
Can I enlarge an image?
Yes, but enlarging creates additional pixels rather than new detail, so the result may look softer.
