Limits and checks
- Encrypted, password-protected, malformed, or unusually large PDFs may not open in the browser.
- Merging combines documents; it does not edit existing page content.
- Browser memory determines the practical number and size of files that can be processed at once.
Merge PDF questions
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
The tool combines PDF pages rather than intentionally recompressing their visible content. Always inspect the downloaded file.
Can I change the order?
Yes. Arrange the selected files before creating the merged PDF.
Are the PDFs uploaded?
No. Supported files are processed in the active browser session and are not sent to a Beginware file-processing server.
